After a traumatic brain injury (TBI), victims are left in varying states of debilitation. Some TBIs resolve themselves in weeks, but others can be catastrophic, permanently impacting a victim’s quality of life. As a result, close family members are likely to experience additional stress as well, as everyone struggles to adapt.
